I developed a profound appreciation for artistic expression early in life. In my paintings I explore light, balance and movement with colourful use of my pallet knife and brush strokes. While observing how nature is so delicate, rich in patterns, and restless rhythm. I endeavour to transfer this spiritual beauty into each creative piece of artwork.
I studied painting as Professional Development at Ontario College of Art Design (OCAD) University in Toronto. Mostly self-taught with practice and patience.
I use many different mediums, such as oil, mixed media, water based oils and acrylics, I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
I enjoy walking by water to capture the spirit of the bay in my spare time. So many of my pieces are directly influenced by these mini adventures in nature. I love recreating the sensitive mood and colours in my work.
